How to change IP Address

IP Address: A unique address by which any remote server can identify your PC.

Some people don't like their data or stuff, they surf over internet, to be hidden. These sort of people use some software's or tools to make themselves hidden. I have made a detailed research on this and came up with a final result.

There are three ways in which you can do this:
1) Change your IP Address manually.
2) Use Software's or Tools.
3) Use of Proxy Servers in browser.

I would recommend to use 2nd or 3rd procedure coz, 1st way is not for newbies and doesn't work in most of the environment. It works for Local environment and doesn't make any change to your actual IP. Let me explain all of them.

Change Your IP Address Manually:
1 Goto Start > Control Pannel > "View Network and Task". You will see a window like this.

2 Click on Local Area Connections. You will see a dialogue box like below. Click on Properties.

  3 Now select Internet Protocol Version 4 and click on properties.

4 Now you will see a dialogue box like below. Click on "Use the following IP Address" and fill its details below.

Note: This works only if you have a local router. Else next two ways should be used

Use Software's or Tools to change IP Address:

1 You can you softwares like HideMyIp. Download this from here.

2 Use of tools like TOR. Which is very effective. Download TOR from here.

3 Use of 3rd party websites like HideMyAss.

4 HideMyIP is not a free version. But other 2 are free to use.

Use of Proxy Servers in browser to change IP Address

This procedure is not for newbies
